A forward‑thinking, high‑performing secondary school in Milton Keynes is seeking an ambitious and dedicated Physics Teacher to join its established Science department for an immediate start. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated practitioner looking to secure a long‑term role within a supportive and aspirational school environment.

The successful candidate will deliver high‑quality Physics teaching across KS3 and KS4, with the potential to teach A‑Level Physics for a suitably experienced teacher. The school places a strong emphasis on academic excellence, student wellbeing, and professional development.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging, high‑impact Physics lessons aligned with the National Curriculum
  • Plan, assess, and track progress to ensure strong student outcomes
  • Implement adaptive teaching strategies to support SEN, EAL, and higher‑attaining students
  • Provide targeted intervention to support GCSE exam preparation and attainment
  • Contribute to enrichment activities including STEM clubs, educational visits, and competitions
Qualifications
  • Holds QTS with experience teaching Physics at secondary level
  • Demonstrates strong subject knowledge and a passion for science education
  • Has excellent classroom management and behaviour for learning strategies
  • Is organised, proactive, and committed to continuous professional development
