SEN Teaching Assistant - Bletchley (Autism & Complex Needs Focus)
Are you passionate about supporting children with autism and complex needs? We are seeking a committed and resilient SEN Teaching Assistant to join our inclusive team in Bletchley. About the Role:
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside teachers and other professionals to deliver tailored support to pupils with autism and a range of complex needs. You will provide assistance both 1:1 and in small group settings, helping learners to engage with the curriculum, build independence, and develop essential life skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver individualised support to students with autism and complex learning needs.
Assist teachers with planning and delivering engaging, inclusive lessons.
Implement personalised learning programmes and effective behaviour management strategies.
Provide emotional and pastoral support, promoting well-being and positive relationships.
Help maintain a safe, nurturing, and structured learning environment.
Requirements:
Previous experience supporting children with autism and complex needs (essential).
A calm, patient, and empathetic approach when working with learners.
Strong behaviour management and de-escalation abilities.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
