Are you an outstanding Physics teacher ready to take the next step in your career? An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and motivated Physics specialist to lead the subject within a dynamic and supportive secondary school in Milton Keynes.

We are seeking a dedicated and inspirational educator with a strong Physics background, ready to champion the subject across Key Stages 3 to 5. While middle leadership experience is preferred, we welcome applications from experienced teachers who demonstrate the vision, ambition and subject expertise to lead Physics and contribute to wider departmental improvement.

The role involves:

  • Raising standards of teaching, learning and assessment in Physics across all key stages

  • Coaching colleagues to ensure consistently strong classroom practice and student progress

  • Modelling high-quality teaching, effective differentiation, and strong subject knowledge

  • Monitoring student outcomes and planning interventions to support achievement

  • Supporting the efficient daily operation of the wider Science faculty

What we’re looking for:

  • A qualified teacher (QTS) with a specialism in Physics

  • A passion for delivering outstanding lessons that engage and challenge all learners

  • Proven ability to raise attainment and support student success in public examinations

  • Middle leadership experience is desirable, but not essential for exceptional candidates

  • A strong commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing

In return, you will join a committed and high-performing team within a school that values innovation, inclusion and continuous professional development. On-site parking is available, and you’ll be supported in your leadership journey within a positive and future-focused learning environment.
