Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to meet a range of special educational needs, with a focus on ASC students.
Support students with a variety of needs, including ASC, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties.
Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and personalised learning strategies.
Create a structured and inclusive classroom environment that supports both learning and emotional wellbeing.
Use a range of teaching approaches to engage students and support their individual learning styles.
Monitor, assess, and track student progress, adapting teaching strategies accordingly.
Work closely with teaching assistants, SENCOs, and external professionals to support student development.
Promote positive behaviour and support students in developing social and emotional skills.
Communicate effectively with parents and carers, providing regular updates on progress and wellbeing.
Candidate Profile

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
Experience working with SEN students, particularly those with ASC, is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of a range of special educational needs and effective support strategies.
Patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach to teaching.
Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and families.
Commitment to inclusive education and ongoing professional development.
Holds (or is willing to obtain) an Enhanced DBS check and professional references.
