Willow Park School, Milton Keynes, MK14 6LJ

Hours:

40 per week | Monday to Friday | 8.00am – 4.00pm

Salary: £39,000.00 - £43,000.00 per annum (depending on experience, not pro rata)

Contract:

Permanent | Term Time Only

Start:
September 2026

About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Maths Teacher to join a thriving specialist SEMH school. Reporting to the Assistant Headteacher, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality teaching and supporting positive outcomes for pupils, both academically and personally. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is flexible, resilient and passionate about working in a specialist setting.

Key responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality Maths teaching that supports strong progress and attainment
  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons to meet the needs of all pupils
  • Use assessment effectively to monitor progress and inform teaching
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of Maths curriculum and practice
  • Support pupils’ personal development, wellbeing and engagement in learning
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure effective curriculum delivery
  • Teach across a range of subjects where required, including off‑site provision if needed
  • Make effective use of resources to enhance learning outcomes
About you
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching Maths at KS3 and/or KS4 in a specialist or mainstream setting
  • A strong commitment to inclusive, pupil‑centred practice
  • Passionate about making learning engaging, accessible and meaningful
  • Able to work proactively and use your own initiative
  • Resilient, adaptable and committed to supporting pupils with SEMH needs
