40 hours per week, Monday–Friday, 8am‑4pm

About the Role

Willow Park School is seeking an exceptional Primary SEN Teacher to lead a small nurture class for pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and a range of additional needs. This opportunity allows you to shape a highly personalised, therapeutically supported provision where children rebuild confidence, develop essential skills and rediscover success.

• Teach a small class of pupils requiring a primary‑style curriculum.
• Deliver creative and engaging lessons tailored to individual needs.
• Support pupils to make academic, social and emotional progress.
• Work closely with Teaching Assistants, the SENCo, Clinical Team and Inclusion Team.
• Build strong relationships that promote emotional regulation and positive behaviour.

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Has experience in SEN, SEMH, alternative provision or nurture settings.
• Is calm, patient and emotionally resilient.
• Combines warmth with high expectations.
• Believes every child deserves the opportunity to succeed.
