Primary SEN Teacher
A wecoming school in Milton Keynes is seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and experienced Primary SEN Teacher to support pupils with Special Educational Needs. As a Primary SEN Teacher, you will deliver engaging and personalised lessons tailored to the individual needs of pupils, supporting their academic progress, emotional wellbeing, and personal development.
Key Responsibilities
- Primary SEN Teacher , Milton Keynes
- Plan and deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons that meet the needs of SEN pupils
- Support children with a range of additional needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, speech and language needs, and learning difficulties
- Create a positive, structured, and inclusive learning environment
- Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants, SENCOs, and wider school staff
- Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting teaching approaches where necessary
- Build strong relationships with parents, carers, and external professionals
- Encourage pupil confidence, independence, and engagement in learning
The Ideal Candidate
- Primary SEN Teacher, Milton Keynes
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
- Experience working with children with Special Educational Needs within a primary school setting
- Strong understanding of SEN teaching strategies and behaviour management
- Patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs and helping them succeed
