For this position in Milton Keynes, previous experience supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), including one-to-one support, is preferred.

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with pupils in the classroom and through individual support sessions, helping them feel safe, confident, and engaged in their learning.

Key Responsibilities

Provide classroom and 1:1 support for pupils with ASD and other additional learning needs.
Assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons and adapting learning activities to meet individual needs.
Promote a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
Build strong and trusting relationships with pupils.
Support pupils' emotional wellbeing, behaviour, and academic development throughout the school day.
