Maths Graduate

Academics are supporting a secondary school in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire who are seeking a Maths Graduate Teaching Assistant to start fulltime from September.

If you hold a degree in maths, then this could be the ideal position for you. The school are looking for graduates that are enthusiastic about mathematics and have a genuine desire to better the educational outcomes of the pupils they work with.

• Secondary School in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire
• Full‑time role, Monday‑Friday
• £100 per day
• Graduate Maths Teaching Assistant
• Hold a maths degree (or related) with a 2:2 or above

The appointed Maths Teaching Assistant will work closely with the maths department to support pupils across Key Stages 3 and 4. You will deliver targeted small group interventions, assist in lessons, and provide one‑to‑one support where needed to help pupils master mathematical concepts. You will also help pupils prepare for important assessments and build their confidence in problem‑solving and exam techniques.

• A graduate with a degree in Mathematics or a closely related subject.
• A strong understanding of mathematical concepts and curriculum content.
• Experience working with children or in an educational setting is desirable but not essential.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, enthusiasm, and the ability to engage and motivate students.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A passion for education and helping students succeed.
