Reception Primary Teacher – Basildon, Essex
OverviewWe are looking for an experienced and passionate primary teacher to join our well‑led Reception class. Full‑time, permanent contract, starting February 2026 in a 2 Form Entry primary school.

- 2 Form Entry Primary School
- MPS1‑UPS salary (Level 1–2)
- Excellent CPD and progression
- ECEs welcomed; TLRs available for experienced teachers wanting additional responsibility
- Modern building with indoor/outdoor facilities and resources
- Local to station, car park available, supportive SLT
- Teach a Reception class, creating fun and engaging lessons for all abilities
- Support partner teachers and the phase leader to deliver the National Curriculum
- Make full use of remarkable indoor/outdoor facilities and resources to engage children of all abilities
- Participate in an ECT induction programme; TLRs available for experienced teachers wanting additional responsibility
- Experience teaching EYFS/KS1 or a desire to move into EYFS
- Creative, ambitious and passionate about early years education
- Excellent communication and enthusiasm for supporting children's development
- Excellent CPD and extra training opportunities
