Aboutthe role
You'll help create engaging lessons that inspire students and build their confidence. This role is about more than teaching content—it's about understanding each student's individual needs and adapting your approach so everyone can succeed. You'll work closely with colleagues, pastoral staff, and parents to support the personal and academic growth of every young person in your care.
Key responsibilities- Plan and teach engaging lessons with clear learning objectives that challenge and support all students
- Adapt your teaching style to meet the needs of students with SEND, EAL, or high ability
- Use assessment and feedback to guide student progress and address any gaps in learning
- Build a positive, inclusive classroom culture with clear routines and high expectations for behaviour
- Work with colleagues and support staff to create effective interventions and share best practice
- Communicate regularly with parents about their child's achievements, well-being, and progress
You’ll have a degree in a relevant subject and Qualified Teacher Status. We're looking for someone with strong knowledge of your subject and curriculum area, who understands what excellent teaching looks like in practice. Can you bring empathy, patience, and resilience to your interactions with students? Do you respond well to feedback and see every day as a chance to learn and improve?
You’ll need good communication skills, the ability to manage your workload, and a genuine commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. Are you curious, open to new ideas, and ready to be an effective and trusted member of our team?
