We are seeking enthusiastic SEND Learning Support Assistants to join a welcoming and supportive school in the MK8 area of Milton Keynes. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity for individuals who are passionate about supporting pupils with additional needs and helping them achieve their full potential.

As a SEND LSA, you will:

• Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with a range of SEND needs.
• Support students both inside and outside the classroom.
• Assist with personal care where required, maintaining pupils' dignity and well-being at all times.
• Support pupils during swimming sessions and other physical activities.
• Work closely with teachers, therapists and other support staff to deliver tailored learning and care plans.
• Encourage positive behaviour, independence and social development.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience working with children or young people with SEND (preferred but not essential).
• Is comfortable providing personal care support.
• Is willing to support pupils during swimming activities.
• Has a patient, nurturing and proactive approach.
• Can build positive relationships with pupils, staff and families.
• Is committed to working full-time on a long-term basis.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
