* An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Bradgate Education Partnership as a Site Manager at The Roundhill Academy on a full time permanent basis. As the Academy Site Manager you will be responsible for playing a central role in ensuring the school operates safely, efficiently, and to a consistently high standard each day. This is a varied and hands-on leadership role where you will take responsibility for the management of the school site, including maintenance, security, cleaning and ongoing development of the buildings and grounds.

You will lead and support the premises team, oversee contractors and site projects, and ensure full compliance with health and safety and statutory requirements, helping to create a secure, well-maintained environment where students and staff can focus on learning.

Working closely with the Headteacher, Trust Estates team and wider colleagues, you will contribute directly to the smooth day-to-day running of the school while also supporting longer-term improvements to the site. The role offers a strong degree of autonomy alongside the support of a collaborative Trust network, with opportunities to shape site standards, influence investment in facilities and drive continuous improvement.

Working Hours:

Working hours will be agreed with the Headteacher; however, the normal working pattern is expected to be 08:00 to 16:00.Please note that The Roundhill Academy operates a two-shift system: 06:00 to 14:00 and 14:00 to 22:00, the successful candidate will be expected to provide cover for either shift when required to meet operational needs. Applicants should therefore be willing and able to work both shift patterns.

The successful candidate must be flexible in their approach to working hours, with the ability to adjust their schedule at short notice to meet operational requirements. There will be a requirement for occasional ad hoc weekend working to provide operational cover during periods of premises staff absence and to support the management of weekend lettings and site activities.

The successful candidate will also have strong practical knowledge and proven experience in building maintenance and the safe use of power tools. They will be expected to mentor colleagues, promote safe working practices, and ensure maintenance tasks are completed to a high standard, in line with relevant health and safety requirements and industry best practice.
