Teaching Tomorrow are working with a primary school in Milton Keynes who are looking for a Key Stage 1 teacher on a full time basis from January.

This is the perfect opportunity for a Key Stage 1 primary teacher who is looking for a full-time role from January 2027, in a good school in the MK area. This is a two-term role and you will be fully supported throughout the process.

Teaching Tomorrow is an agency with a great reputation within Milton Keynes and have a strong relationship with this primary school, helping regularly with their long-term recruitment.

You will be teaching a mixed class of year 1 and year 2, with planning and marking responsibilities required.

This Key Stage 1 teaching role is suited to a primary teacher wanting consistency and stability, while providing great education for children in their local community.

This role would be perfect for both an ECT or a fully qualified teacher, who has lower Key Stage 1 experience.

Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or ECT
  • Strong and successful Key Stage 1 teaching experience
  • Must be available five days a week
  • Comfortable covering lessons across the national UK curriculum
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of individual students
Responsibilities
  • Cover and deliver engaging lessons for Year 1 and Year 2 pupils
  • Support student learning and development
  • Maintain accurate records as required
  • Collaborate with teaching staff and support teams
  • Follow school policies and safeguarding procedures
  • Contribute to the positive learning environment
