Front End Loader Driver – NPORS

Pay: £16.92 per hour PAYE (approx. £33,000 annual equivalent)

06:00–14:00 – AM shift only

We are recruiting for an experienced Front End Loader (FEL) Driver to work at a busy waste recovery and mechanical treatment facility in Milton Keynes.
A valid NPORS Front End Loader qualification is essential for this position.

The Role

You will operate a Front End Loader to support the day-to-day processing and movement of waste materials throughout the Mechanical Treatment Plant.

Responsibilities include:

Operating a Front End Loader safely to move, load and manage waste streams.

Creating and maintaining waste pockets for processing equipment and external contractors.

Maintaining a consistent material feed to support plant operations.

Supporting plant start-up and shutdown activities.

Carrying out daily vehicle inspections and reporting defects.

Keeping equipment in a safe working condition.

Assisting with housekeeping and clearing operational areas when required.

Maintaining safe access routes throughout the facility.

Following all site health & safety and traffic management procedures.

Working closely with Operations and Maintenance teams and external contractors.
## Essential Requirements

Valid NPORS Front End Loader qualification – essential.
Previous experience operating a Front End Loader.
Good understanding of site health & safety requirements.
Ability to work independently and follow operational instructions.
Reliable and punctual, with the ability to consistently work the 06:00–14:00 shift.

Previous experience within waste management, recycling, heavy industrial, aggregate or similar environments would be advantageous
