Overview
Randstad are recruiting for 2 Freelance Site Agents for a major infrastructure project in Buckingham. This role is £600 a day PAYE, inside IR35. The successful candidate will be working for Tier 1 main Contractors in Joint venture for a number of years. You will have experience in Drainage, earthworks or Structures.
Responsibilities- Strategy:
Assist in defining the construction strategy and leading kick-off meetings. - Documentation:
Own the production of Method Statements, Environmental & Quality Plans, and Construction programmes. - Schedules:
Manage procurement and design deliverable schedules to ensure no "bottlenecks" in production.
- Resource Allocation:
Partner with the Agent and Section Foreman to strategically allocate labour, plant, and materials. - Engineering Oversight:
Manage the site engineering team, taking direct responsibility for the performance, mentoring, and professional development of Site and Section Engineers. - Temporary Works:
Coordinate temporary works to ensure they meet required standards, budgets, and timelines.
- Financial Control:
Contribute to financial forecasting, site measurement, and material reconciliations. - Progress Tracking:
Produce detailed progress reports, resource plans, and cost control documents to keep the project on track financially and operationally.
- Safety & Quality:
Ensure all operations conform to contract requirements and maintain the highest standards of Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality (SHEQ).
You will need to have a significant amount of experience on Structures and /or Highways
