VCARB F1 Team - Model Design Placement

Visa Cash App Racing Bulls F1 Team is looking for a motivated and visionary student to join our Aerodynamics Department.

We are looking for a creative mind who shares our relentless obsession with making the car faster and more efficient. This is a rare opportunity to get hands‑on with high-level engineering and kickstart your career in the F1 world!

This is a 13‑months placement opportunity, starting in July 2026 in Milton Keynes (UK). Please, make sure your application includes your up‑to‑date CV. We also encourage you to add a personalised covering letter.

Create robust parametric CAD models, using both surface and solid body reference geometry, ready for manufacture of Wind Tunnel model components;

Generate component and assembly drawings that include clear and concise communication of tolerances and assembly processes;

Optimize component designs around packaging constraints and their performance under load;

Complete FEA simulations on components tested in the Wind Tunnel;

Conduct lab tests to prove out designs;

Take on larger scale design projects as part of a small team.

Once you’ve submitted your application, you’ll most likely receive an invitation to complete the Red Bull Wing finder assessment. Taking the test is not mandatory for your application to be reviewed; however, we strongly recommend completing it, as it’s a great way to better understand your own strengths and potential!
