Key Responsibilities

* Develop innovative engineering proposals and solutions for automated materials handling systems

* Interpret client requirements and translate them into conceptual and detailed designs

* Collaborate with internal design, sales, and project teams to create competitive bids

* Support cost estimation, technical documentation, and tender submissions

* Contribute to continuous improvement and innovation within the proposals function

What We’re Looking For

* Degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical Engineering

* Strong design capability (conceptual through to detailed level)

* Experience with in automation, materials handling, or a related engineering sector (highly desirable)

* Commercial awareness and the ability to balance technical and cost considerations

* Excellent communication skills and a proactive, solution-focused mindset
