Maintenance Team Leader

Are you a hands-on Maintenance Engineer with leadership experience? Looking for an opportunity to take ownership, develop a team, and drive engineering performance within a busy manufacturing environment and work on a Days shift, Monday to Friday?

We are recruiting for an Engineering Team Leader to support the day-to-day running of a maintenance function, ensuring equipment reliability, minimising downtime, and leading a team of engineers to deliver outstanding results.

The Role:

* Lead, coach and support a team of maintenance engineers.

* Coordinate daily maintenance activities and planned maintenance schedules.

* Provide hands-on support with breakdowns, fault finding and repairs.

* Drive improvements in reliability, downtime reduction and asset performance.

* Manage engineering spares, contractors and supplier relationships.

* Support continuous improvement initiatives and engineering projects.

* Monitor and improve key KPIs including MTTR and MTBF.

* Work closely with production and operational teams to maintain performance.

About You

* Engineering maintenance experience gained within a manufacturing environment.

* Previous supervisory, team leader or management experience.

* Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.

* Continuous improvement mindset.

* Confident communicator with the ability to motivate and develop others.

* Engineering qualification essential. (Electrical or Mechanical)

* Experience using CMMS systems would be advantageous.
