We are seeking an Electrical
Engineer to design and develop equipment and systems used to test our high-performance e-drive technology.

2018 was an exceptional year at Integral Powertrain, two of our high-power density Integral e-Drive motors powered the record-breaking run at Pikes Peak in the Rocky Mountains where the times for electric vehicles and the overall speed record were smashed.

Our e-drive technology has not only set new standards in electric powertrain, our motors have been involved in smashing world records and have since been recognised with a multitude of industry awards. Our success is set to continue with new projects beginning with new and existing customers.

Our

Electrical Engineer will:
  • Produce conceptual designs, costs and timing plans for new and developed test equipment
  • Design new test equipment and systems in accordance with the conceptual design
  • Oversee the assembly phase of a project
  • Carry out commissioning of new test systems
  • Carry out risk assessments on new and existing test equipment to ensure safe systems and procedures
  • Develop existing test equipment / systems to improve testing capability
  • Provide engineering input to support the maintenance of test equipment
About You
  • Hold a relevant qualification, ideally a Degree in an engineering related subject
  • Knowledge and experience with Low voltage DC switching systems up to 1500

    VDC, instrumentation and control systems and Variable Speed Drives
  • Knowledge of best practice for electrical earthing for both safety and noise (EMI) immunity, experience with clean and dirty earth systems
  • Capable in designing and documenting electrical circuits and panels in 2D CAD systems, including wiring schematics, P& and layout drawings
  • Ideally some experience with PLC systems
