Field Service Engineer

Elevation Recruitment Group's Engineering Services Division is supporting our growing client in recruiting an Electrically Biased Field Service Engineer to support their clients in critical healthcare facilities throughout the South of the UK.

The Field Service Engineer will work as part of a committed Service team, carrying out periodic servicing of electrical equipment, lighting, and control systems in hospitals and operating theatres, as well as reacting to breakdowns.

Key Responsibilities for the Field Service Engineer role include:

• Servicing of electrical equipment in hospitals (wards and operating theatres)
• Diagnosing and fault-finding
• Problem-solving and troubleshooting
• Communicating with hospital staff and occasionally with patients and their families
• Providing updates and reports to the Service & Contracts team

Skills and experience required for the Field Service Engineer role include:

• Experience working with Electrical Assets & Equipment
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to empathise with people in difficult situations
• Electrical qualification (18th edition would be desirable)
• Experience working in hospitals/healthcare would be an advantage, but is not essential
