Setting Out Engineer

My client is looking for an experienced civils site Setting Out Engineer, working within the housing market. This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the biggest civils companies in the Home Counties. BASIC SALARY: £55,000 - £60,000 - dependant on experience BENEFITS:

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Setting Out Engineer - Civil Engineering, Surveying, Groundworks As our Setting Out Engineer you will be:
· Setting out and surveying works on site
· Working closely with the Site Manager and wider construction team
· Producing and reviewing RAMS, ITPs, RFIs and other project documentation
· Ensuring works are carried out in accordance with drawings, specifications and approved procedures
· Checking levels, dimensions and quality of completed works
· Maintaining accurate site records and engineering documentation
· Assisting with technical queries and resolving site issues
· Liaising with subcontractors, suppliers and project management teams
· Monitoring construction activities and ensuring they are completed to the required standards
· Providing technical support and guidance to site teams
· Identifying potential issues and assisting with practical solutions
· Ensuring health, safety and quality requirements are maintained throughout the works

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Setting Out Engineer - Civil Engineering, Surveying, Groundworks As our Setting Out Engineer, you will be:
· Working on infrastructure, commercial and residential groundwork across main contractors, developers and major house builders
· Completing site surveys and essential site preparation
· Working on multiple projects across the Home Counties and Northamptonshire

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

Setting Out Engineer - Civil Engineering, Surveying, Groundworks To be successful in your application, you must :
· Have a proven track record as a Setting Out Engineer within the civils market
· Preferably have residential / housing experience
· Be able to use AUTOCAD and read technical drawings from architects
· Be either on the books or self employed, would consider both (ideally on the books)
· You will hold a BTEC or Level 3 qualification in civil engineering or surveying, but we welcome applicants who have a HNC, HND or Degree in civil engineering or surveying
· You will need a full clean driving license THE COMPANY:
