We are pleased to be recruiting for a Finance Manager to join a highly prestigious business based in Milton Keynes.
As a Finance Manager you will be an integral part of the Finance team – responsible for the management of a small team and driving financial performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support a small team of finance specialists, driving high performance and ensuring outputs meet business standards and deadlines.
- Oversee the integrity and efficiency of all finance operations including payroll, pensions, sales and purchase ledgers, expenses, cash management, investments, and general ledger postings.
- Partner with senior leadership to deliver accurate financial reporting, detailed analysis, and ad hoc project support.
- Actively identify and implement enhancements to accounting systems and processes, streamlining workflows and improving transactional accuracy.
- Provide expert technical guidance on accounting and taxation matters to inform key strategic and operational decisions across the group.
- Take ownership of regulatory and statutory submissions, ensuring full compliance and timely delivery to relevant authorities.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with external partners, including auditors, banks, suppliers, and regulatory agencies such as HMRC.
- Lead the coordination of external audits and client entities, managing the end-to-end process and preparation of statutory financial statements.
- Oversee corporation tax computations and quarterly VAT filings, maintaining accuracy and compliance with all tax obligations.
- Support and mentor team members through ongoing development and tailored personal growth plans, promoting a culture of learning and excellence.
- Strengthen the finance function by fostering collaboration, identifying improvement opportunities, and leveraging existing expertise.
- Ensure the timely completion and accuracy of all month-end reconciliations.
- Monitor and manage working capital effectively to maintain liquidity while maximising investment returns.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven background within a similar role including Line Management responsibilities
- Strong leader who takes pride in developing talent through mentoring and managing performance.
- Excellent communication style to be a credible leader within the Finance team and collaborate with both external and internal stakeholders.

- Up to £65,000 base salary plus bonus
