Interim Technical Accounting Consultant - Outside IR35

JSS are supporting a high profile, consumer led, listed business with the appointment of an Interim Technical Accounting Consultant for a nine month assignment. Operating within a fast growing, dynamic environment, this is a hands on, delivery focused role offering real ownership and visibility. It’s ideally suited to a technically strong accountant who enjoys getting into the detail and has a proven track record of delivering through finance systems change and transformation.

• Ownership of the UK Close:
  Lead the end-to-end month-end close process, ensuring the integrity of the UK profit and loss and balance sheet
• Preparation and ownership of UK statutory and management reporting
• Manage the consolidation of UK accounts, providing clear, actionable insights to the Group Reporting team.
• Act as the finance lead for upcoming system enhancements. You will be responsible for User Acceptance Testing (UAT), troubleshooting data workflows, and training the wider team on new protocols.
• Technical Compliance:
  Ensure all UK reporting remains compliant with FRS 102/IFRS standards, acting as a primary point of contact for external auditors.
• Identify and implement process improvements to strengthen controls and reporting quality

• Qualified accountant with a strong technical background
• Experience in finance systems implementation (UAT, testing, training)
• Oracle Fusion experience beneficial
• Comfortable operating as a hands on individual contributor in a fast paced environment
