Group Financial Controller

• Salary : £120,000 - £130,000 plus benefits

Eutopia Search are exclusively partnering with a high-growth, private equity–backed business, who are seeking a Group Financial Controller / Head of Finance.

This Senior Leadership opportunity will play a significant role transforming the finance team and leading on several key financial projects.

• Lead and develop the financial control function, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
• Oversee all aspects of Group Financial Reporting and Month End Close, while maintaining robust control and compliance frameworks.
• Manage the audit process across multiple entities and serve as the primary liaison with external auditors.
• Partner with the CFO on cash management, governance, and risk.
• Mentor and develop a high-performing finance team, driving a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Deliver actionable financial insights to senior leadership, supporting strategic and commercial decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and best practices.
• Manage relationships with external advisers, including the auditors and tax partners.

• ACA, ACCA qualified (ideally trained in a Top 10 firm).
• Strong technical foundation with experience in financial control, reporting, and governance.
• Proven background in a Mid-Sized business
• Audit background advantageous, but must bring a commercial, forward-thinking mindset.
• Hands‑on, detail‑oriented leader.
• Skilled in leading and developing teams.
• Excellent communicator, confident engaging across all levels of a business.
