Position: Accounts Assistant (Permanent)
Adapro Talent Partners are delighted to be exclusively supporting a highly innovative, high growth market disruptor with their recruitment of an Accounts Assistant, on a permanent basis.

The Accounts Assistant is a newly created role to support the continued growth of the business, and reporting to the Finance Manager they will help to keep the ever growing number of accounting transactions accurate, up to date and well organised.
This will be a hands-on role which will suit someone with a solid background in transactional finance.

Key Responsibilities will include:

● Maintaining purchase and sales ledgers

● Processing supplier invoices, credit notes and staff expenses

● Matching invoices to purchase orders and resolving discrepancies

● Preparing and processing payment runs

● Reconciling bank accounts, company credit cards and other payment platforms

● Assisting with credit control, including issuing statements and chasing overdue payments

● Supporting month-end processes, including journals and balance sheet reconciliations

● Assisting with VAT returns and other statutory reporting

● Keeping financial records, files and systems accurate and up to date

● Providing general finance administration and support as required

The successful Candidate will be someone who has some previous experience of working with finance transactions for a fast paced business. Whether they have held Bookkeeper, Accounts Assistant or Finance Administration roles is irrelevant, what is important is that they have a strong attention to detail, a "can do" attitude, excellent communication skills and strong Excel skills. This business is fast paced, fun and ever changing, so any Candidate wishing to apply needs to enjoy working in such environments.

Our Client is offering a Salary of £25,000 - £28,000 + Benefits
This role will be 5 days onsite, but the office vibe is so good that you won't want to be anywhere else
