We are partnering with a major UK financial services organisation undergoing a large-scale, multi-year systems transformation. This is a key opportunity for an experienced VAT professional to take ownership of VAT work streams within a complex SAP S/4

HANA implementation.

This role sits at the intersection of Tax, Finance and Technology, ensuring VAT compliance and optimisation are embedded within future‑state system design.

You will:

• Act as the VAT SME across SAP S/4
  
  HANA and customer management platforms
• Lead VAT input into system design, configuration and implementation
• Conduct gap analysis between current VAT processes and future‑state functionality
• Ensure VAT requirements are accurately reflected across income streams and purchase transactions
• Oversee VAT‑related testing and resolve defects prior to go‑live
• Partner closely with senior stakeholders including Head of VAT and programme leadership

• In‑house VAT compliance experience within financial services
• SAP ERP / SAP S/4
  
  HANA transformation experience
• Exposure to large-scale system implementations
• CTA qualified (3+ years PQE or equivalent)
• Strong stakeholder engagement across tax, finance and technology teams

• Part of a high-profile, multi-year transformation programme
• Significant visibility across tax and finance leadership
