An established and stable organisation in Milton Keynes are looking to hire a Financial Controller on a permanent basis. The role will report directly to the Director of Finance. The salary on offer is up to £78,000 per annum plus company specific benefits which includes bonus, healthcare, car schemes and pension.

• Overseeing a financial operations team leading day to day, monthly and quarterly processes
• Financial reporting including tax, statutory and IFRS
• Leading the monthly close process, balance sheet controls, CAPEX and consolidated accounts
• Acting as the main POC for all company tax queries including VAT and P11D’s
• Partnering external auditors throughout the annual close process
• Seeking to improve internal controls and process where possible
• Ad hoc reporting tasks when required

• Be fully qualified (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with evidence of working within a Financial Controls and/or Financial Reporting position
• Have experience of leading a team
• Have strong technical accounting experience
• Be willing to work onsite in Milton Keynes 3 days per week
