Responsibilities
  • Support the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts, working closely with internal stakeholders and pro-actively liaise with other departments and external suppliers to ensure that month end inputs are timely and accurate.
  • Identify and investigate cost saving opportunities and initiatives on behalf of the business, liaising with the business, suppliers and bill validation agencies to reach a satisfactory outcome and maintain a tracker of the outcome of such investigations for the team.
  • Monitor and manage cost control across departments for example authorisation and control of credits notes for customer services.
  • Ownership of preparation of Month End preparation and delivery including providing commentary and analysis to other departments.
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts, ensuring compliance with financial policies and internal controls.

This is a full time, permanent role working 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday between 08.00am - 5.00pm.

Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a management accounting or finance manager role.
  • Strong analytical and advanced excel skills.
  • Able to build and maintain effective working relationships quickly and effectively with colleagues.
  • Pro-active/demonstrates initiative, organised and comfortable working to deadlines.
  • Qualified, Part Qualified or Qualified by experience.
