Our client is seeking a commercially focused Brand Controller to join a central finance function, acting as a key finance business partner to a specific brand or group function. This role is responsible for financial planning, performance analysis, and providing strategic commercial insight to senior stakeholders.
You will play a critical role in driving financial performance through robust budgeting, forecasting, and decision support in a fast-paced, commercially driven environment.
Responsibilities- Take ownership of the financial performance of a brand or business function.
- Lead the development and management of budgets and forecasts
. - Provide commercial and financial insights to senior leadership to support decision-making.
- Partner with Brand/Functional Directors and management teams to maximise financial performance
. - Monitor and analyse financial results, identifying risks and opportunities.
- Support the development of business cases and strategic initiatives
. - Ensure strong financial governance, controls, and reporting standards.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with senior stakeholders and board-level contacts
.
- Qualified accountant (
CIMA, ACCA, or ACA
). - Proven experience as a Senior Finance Manager or Finance Business Partner
. - Strong knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting
. - Experience using SAP or similar financial systems.
- Background in automotive, retail, or other fast-paced commercial industries
.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to influence business decisions.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
. - Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
