I am partnering with a growing, forward-thinking bank to appoint a Senior Compliance Officer into its 2

LOD ( Second Line of Defence) function. This is a hands-on, high-impact role with a clear focus on mortgage lending
, ideal for someone who enjoys working closely with the business and shaping real outcomes.

This position offers the opportunity to combine technical expertise with influence
, acting as a trusted adviser across mortgage and secured lending activities while helping to evolve the bank’s compliance framework.

• Providing pragmatic, commercially focused compliance advice on mortgage lending
• Leading monitoring reviews, thematic work, and regulatory change initiatives
• Supporting SMCR and conduct risk frameworks
• Driving stronger first-line ownership of regulatory risk

• Proven 2
  
  LOD Compliance experience within financial services
• A must-have background in mortgage lending / secured finance
• A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to challenge and influence
