Salary: £65,000 - £75,000 + Benefits

We’re partnered with a well‑established, multi‑site organisation that are seeking an ambitious and commercially minded Financial Controller to join its finance leadership team. This is an excellent opportunity for either an experienced Finance Manager looking to step into their first Financial Controller position, or an established Financial Controller seeking a new challenge where they can make a genuine impact on both the finance function and wider business performance.

Working closely with senior leadership, you will play a key role in driving financial control, improving processes, enhancing reporting, and supporting strategic decision‑making across a complex operational environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop a finance team, ensuring high standards of performance and delivery.
  • Take ownership of the month‑end and year‑end close processes.
  • Produce accurate and timely management accounts and financial reporting.
  • Manage balance sheet integrity, reconciliations, and financial controls.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management activities.
  • Partner with operational and non‑finance stakeholders to provide meaningful financial insight.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to drive efficiency and strengthen controls.
  • Support audit processes and statutory reporting requirements.
  • Contribute to finance projects, systems improvements, and wider business initiatives.
Key Requirements
  • ACA, ACCA or CIMA Qualified.
  • Experienced in managing and developing finance teams.
  • Commercially aware with strong business partnering skills.
  • Experience gained within multi‑site organisation.
  • Confident influencing stakeholders across all levels of an organisation.
  • Comfortable working within a fast‑paced and evolving environment.
  • Driven to improve processes and add value beyond traditional financial reporting.
