Accounts Payable Specialist

We’re looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join a fast-paced finance team. This is a varied role supporting the wider finance function, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations across payables while contributing to process improvement and broader financial activities.

• Processing invoices and ensuring accurate and timely payment of suppliers
• Supporting month-end close activities where required
• Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies
• Managing queries from internal and external stakeholders
• Assisting with payment runs and cash flow planning
• Maintaining accurate financial records and documentation
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the finance team
• Providing ad hoc support across finance as needed

• Previous experience in an accounts payable or finance-related role
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Comfortable working with financial systems and MS Excel
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to prioritise workload in a dynamic environment
• A proactive and team-oriented approach

• Exposure to ERP systems
• Experience working in a high-volume environment
• Progress towards, or interest in, a finance qualification
