Credit Controller

Reed Finance is delighted to be partnering with a growing organisation within the supply chain sector to recruit a Credit Controller.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional to join a busy and supportive finance team in a varied role that combines credit control responsibilities with broader accounts support duties. Reporting into the finance leadership team, you will play a key role in maintaining cash flow, reducing aged debt, and supporting the efficient day-to-day running of the finance function.

Duties Include:

• Managing the company's sales ledger and credit control function
• Chasing outstanding debt via telephone, email, and written correspondence
• Building and maintaining strong customer relationships to ensure prompt payment of invoices
• Allocating incoming payments and maintaining accurate customer account records
• Producing and reviewing aged debtor reports
• Investigating and resolving account queries and payment disputes
• Setting up new customer accounts and carrying out credit checks where required
• Monitoring customer credit limits and highlighting potential risks to management
• Producing regular cash collection forecasts and reporting on debtor performance
