Our client, a leading global hedge fund, is seeking an Index Research Analyst to join their collaborative research team. This role focuses on index rebalancing
, combining deep analytical work with data‑driven insights across global markets.
- Collaborate closely with the trading and research teams on index strategies across US, EMEA, and Asia
. - Conduct primary research using company filings and shareholding data to predict index events and rebalances
. - Analyze and interpret index methodologies to identify trends, signals, and opportunities.
- Generate actionable research insights that contribute to the team’s overall investment strategies.
- 2–5 years of experience in research or quantitative analysis, ideally within an index rebalancing environment.
- Proven ability to work with company filings, key information documents, and corporate data
. - Strong understanding of equity index methodologies
. - Excellent analytical and programming skills with proficiency in Python, SQL, and Excel
. - Exceptional attention to detail and a proactive, research‑driven mindset.
