Adult Nurse

First Option Healthcare are a Complex Care provider who specialise in providing care to Children & Adults with Complex needs in their own home.

You’ll deliver personalised care to our clients to help maintain dignity & self-worth and promote independence.

We are looking for a caring, compassionate, bubbly & energetic nurse nurses to look after a 17-year-old girl in her own home with previous experience of providing person centred care for children/adults with learning disabilities and experience with managing seizures.

The role will involve sensory & play therapy alongside a variety of activities such as bike rides, swimming & walks in the park with our client.

21:00 - 08:00 (Nights)

15:00 - 21:00 (Weekdays)

08:00 - 18:00 (Weekends)

Rates Breakdown:

Weekday Rate: £33 Weekday Nights: £35

Weekend Day: £35 Weekend Nights: £36

Main Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 & 2:1 care to the patient in their own home
Build rapport with family members and other staff members
Making sure care plans are followed and client dignity & respect is practiced

Requirements for the role:

A minimum of 12 months UK experience in the last two years working closely with people with clinical complex needs
Enteral Feeding
Seizure Management
Oxygen
Play Therapy
Medication Administration
Manual Handling
Ensure care plans and other information are followed and changes escalated to clinical leads
Supporting clients outside the home when required ie medical appointments, family trips and days out Unfortunately, we do not currently offer sponsorship for overseas candidates
