Locum MRI Radiographer – Milton Keynes

* Locum | £30.00 per hour | 12‑Hour Shifts | 3 Days per Week

We are seeking experienced MRI Radiographers to support a busy imaging service in Milton Keynes.

This role offers long‑day shifts across seven days and the opportunity to assist during an exciting period of service transition as MRI scanners are relocated to a new imaging centre.

Shift Requirements

You will be required to cover three 12‑hour shifts per week, each including a 30‑minute break. Shifts run across all seven days, with the following patterns:

Current Shift Patterns (Now – 23 March 2026)

* Early: 06:45 – 19:15

* Late: 08:45 – 21:15 (temporary rota adjustment during scanner relocation)

Shift Patterns From 24 March 2026 Onwards

* Early: 06:45 – 19:15

* Late: 10:45 – 23:15

Key Responsibilities

* Perform high‑quality MRI examinations in line with departmental protocols

* Ensure safe, effective, and patient‑centred imaging practice

* Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

* Maintain accurate documentation and support smooth workflow

* Assist with service continuity during the imaging centre relocation

Requirements

* HCPC‑registered Radiographer

* Proven MRI experience within NHS or equivalent settings

* Confident working independently on long‑day shifts

* Strong communication and patient‑care skills

* Ability to adapt to temporary rota changes
