Night Porter

Responsibilities

• Provide customers with a heartfelt and memorable experience each and every time they visit
• Be the first point of contact for late arrival check‑ins and walk‑ins
• Ensure guest and business safety, with security as a top priority at all times
• In the event of a fire, evacuate all guests and team from the business safely and quickly
• Answer telephone enquiries and deal with customer complaints to ensure everyone enjoys their stay
• Set up and prepare for functions and meetings in our two function rooms
• Set up resident breakfast room
• Clean guest area front‑of‑house to ensure the first guests to come down for breakfast meet sparkling facilities
• A typical shift starts at 11:15 pm and finishes at 6:15 am

• Willingness to learn and expand your skills
• Great eye for detail, ensuring every function is set up to perfection
• Ability to work on your own in a mostly lone‑working role while guests sleep
• Passion for giving great service and ensuring every customer receives a warm welcome
• Positive can‑do attitude and real team player spirit

As a Night Porter, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of hotel guests, staff, and the hotel ’ll be joining a fun and inclusive team, where you can grow and strengthen your skills and experience.
