You'll work closely with managers across the organisation, providing practical HR support, navigating complex people challenges, improving employee experiences, and helping to build a positive, high-performing culture.
The Role Reporting to the senior leadership team, you'll lead the day-to-day operational HR function, acting as a trusted advisor and coach to managers across the business. No two days will look the same. One day you may be managing a complex employee relations issue, and the next you could be recruiting talent, delivering onboarding sessions, coaching managers, supporting wellbeing initiatives, or improving HR processes and systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Providing expert HR advice and guidance across the full employee lifecycle. Leading end-to-end recruitment and selection activities. Managing onboarding, inductions, probation reviews, and employee integration. Handling a wide range of employee relations matters (Disciplinary procedures, Grievances, Performance management, Capability cases, Absence management, Investigations) Supporting employee wellbeing, sickness absence management, and reasonable adjustments. Advising managers on employment law, HR policies, and best practice.
Coaching and developing managers to build confident, high-performing teams. Driving employee engagement and culture initiatives. Identifying opportunities to improve HR processes, systems, and ways of working. About You - We're looking for a confident and approachable HR professional who can quickly build credibility and strong working relationships across the organisation. You'll be practical, organised, resilient, and capable of balancing empathy with commercial awareness.
Most importantly, you'll enjoy solving problems, influencing decisions, and helping managers navigate people challenges effectively. We're open to experienced HR Advisors looking to step into their first HR Manager role, as well as established HR Managers seeking their next challenge. Ideally, you'll have: CIPD Level 5 qualification (or equivalent experience). Strong operational HR experience across the employee lifecycle. Sound knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
Experience independently managing complex employee relations cases. A proactive, solutions-focused approach. Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Why Apply?
