Free on-site parking The  Role An experienced HR Manager to take full ownership of the HR function within a independent hotel with a team of 150 staff

Reporting directly to the General Manager Taking responsibility for the full day-to-day HR function across the hotel

Working as a hands-on HR generalist, supporting the full employee lifecycle

Being a visible and approachable presence on site, working closely with employees and Heads of Department Providing HR guidance and support to managers and employees across the business

Managing the full onboarding process, including new starter documentation and reference checks

Managing overseas employment contracts and live-in staff contracts

Supporting recruitment, employee relations, performance management and employee engagement

Coordinating staff training, meetings and HR initiatives

Maintaining accurate HR records and ensuring compliance with employment legislation

Working closely with the General Manager and HOD team to support recruitment, retention and development

Identifying and implementing improvements to the hotel's HR processes and employee experience The Requirements Proven experience as an HR Manager or HR Generalist, ideally within a hotel environmentCIPD Level 5 qualification is essential

Strong hospitality or hotel HR experience is essentialA broad generalist HR background, with experience across the full employee lifecycleA hands-on HR professional who enjoys being visible and involved in the operation

Confident dealing with employees and managers at all levels

Strong knowledge of HR processes, employee relations and employment legislation

Highly organised, resilient and able to manage a varied workloadA proactive 'can-do' attitude and practical approach to problem solving
