Performance Tester; IT​/Contractor

Role

Description:

Design and implement performance test plans and scripts for end-to-end business flows.

• Execute load tests to simulate expected user volumes and spike tests to assess system behavior under sudden traffic surges.
• Monitor system resources (CPU, memory, disk I/O) during test execution to identify bottlenecks.
• Analyse performance metrics and generate detailed reports with recommendations for optimization.
• Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to resolve performance issues and improve system architecture.
• Establish performance benchmarks and acceptance criteria in alignment with business SLAs.
• Continuously update testing methodologies and tools to align with industry standards and project needs.
• Ability to interpret performance test results and suggest architectural improvements.
• Experience with CI/CD integration and automated performance testing pipelines.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and virtualization environments.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
