Configuration Analyst

Salary: £25,000 plus benefits

Shift: Evening/night shift role – work USA hours. Shifts start at 4 pm and finish no later than 2 am.

Location:

Remote with occasional office visits in Milton Keynes.

Company: iO Associates is looking for a Configuration Analyst with data entry/excel experience to work with a specialist technology company. The role involves configuring new store setups and maintaining services for continued monitoring of all customers. You will liaise with onsite engineers, SMEs, and customer teams to resolve issues and deliver successful solutions to integration and installation challenges.

Responsibilities
  • Provide telephone technical support to installation technicians & maintenance techs.
  • Ensure third‑party technicians and customers have a well‑connected and set‑up site both during and after installation.
  • Act as the first point of contact during installation and subsequent visits for issues such as hardware swap‑outs and alarm queries.
  • Provide validation and sign‑off for successful installation.
  • Maintain the Master sign‑off sheets for customer rollouts.
  • Support customer changes, e.g., controller swap‑out, refit, remodels.
  • Check trouble‑ticket issue logs daily to identify and resolve as required.
  • Check system‑generated reports and resolve any anomalies highlighted daily.
  • Communicate with customers & technicians via telephone, e‑mail & ticketing process.
Experience Required
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Experience working with customers, demonstrating an ability to work on own initiative to resolve issues.
  • Good listening skills.
  • Ability to liaise between multiple team members across different continents and time zones.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to and learn about new interfaces and systems.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Basic SQL usage.
  • Good all‑round Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
