OverviewOur client is seeking motivated and analytically minded individuals to join their organisation as Level 4 Data Analyst Apprentices. This two-year programme offers a structured development pathway combining hands‑on analytical experience with a recognised Level 4 Data Analyst qualification.
This opportunity is suited to individuals with a strong interest in data analysis who are looking to develop advanced analytical capabilities while supporting real business reporting and insight delivery across a dynamic organisation operating in a rapidly evolving industry.
Please note:
This is an apprenticeship role. Applicants who hold a degree or master’s degree in a related subject such as Data Science, Data Analysis, Mathematics, or Business Analytics are not eligible.
Responsibilities may vary depending on team placement but may include:
- Establishing reporting requirements and delivering accurate, insight-driven information
- Collecting, compiling, and cleansing datasets from multiple sources
- Identifying, analysing, and interpreting trends and patterns within complex data sets
- Producing clear summaries and presenting findings to stakeholders
- Making data-driven recommendations to support business decisions
- Investigating and root-causing data quality issues
- Supporting the development of dashboards and performance reporting tools
- Working towards the Level 4 Data Analyst apprenticeship qualification
You will be supported by a dedicated industry coach through a blended learning model, including remote learning, in-person sessions, 1-2-1 support, and group workshops.
Requirements Education- Minimum of 5 GCSEs (Grades 9–4 or A–C), including Maths and English
- Must have the right to work in the UK
- Must meet government apprenticeship funding eligibility criteria, including residency requirements
- Must not hold a Level 4 qualification or above in a related subject (e.g., degree or master’s in Data Science, Data Analysis, Mathematics, Business Analytics, etc.)
- Must not be enrolled in another government-funded learning programme
- High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Competent in Microsoft Excel
- Demonstrated interest in data analysis (through education, self‑study, or work experience)
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present findings clearly
- Experience with tools such as SQL, Python, or Power BI is advantageous but not essential
