Day Rate: £550-£600 p.d inside IR35

We're looking for a seasoned Technical Network Architect to support a high‑profile central government programme. If you thrive in secure, complex environments and enjoy shaping robust, scalable network solutions, this role will suit you perfectly.

• Strong people skills and the ability to translate complex technical concepts with ease.
• Experience working in secure government environments.
• Deep knowledge of network architecture, including:
• • Network topology and configuration
  • Wireless architecture
  • Firewalls
  • Load balancing
  • Inter/intra‑site connectivity
  • VPN configuration
  • Public cloud connectivity
  • Proven ability to produce high‑quality architectural documentation (HLDs, LLDs, options assessments).
  • Confident requirements management and ownership of technical deliverables.
  • Working knowledge of auditing and security tooling.
  • Strong understanding of NCSC, GDS, CIS, Cyber Essentials, NIST and wider UK government technology standards.

• Experience working within a matrix organisation.
• Relevant technical certifications.
• TOGAF or equivalent architectural experience.
• Familiarity with public cloud services.
