Senior Technical Architect
Inside IR35, £640 P/D
Hybrid, 3 days on site per week in Milton Keynes
6 months, scope to extend
Active SC would be advantageous
We are looking for a skilled Senior Technical Architect to deliver secure, scalable technology solutions for a UK Government client. You will translate complex technical concepts, lead solution design and work closely with security, infrastructure and cloud teams.
Key Requirements- Experience in secure government environments
- Strong technical background across Microsoft/Linux servers, networks, and:
- Hybrid Cloud, Gateways, PKI
- Email services
- VMware (VCD, vSAN, NSX)
- Cisco, Palo Alto, SASE
- Ability to produce high‑quality architectural documentation (HLD/LLD, options assessments).
- Dev Sec Ops experience with CI/CD and automation.
- Requirements management ownership.
- Experience designing and migrating services to Azure/M365 and AWS.
- Working knowledge of security tooling and auditing.
- Strong understanding of NCSC, GDS, CIS, Cyber Essentials, NIST and UK government tech policy.
