Overview

Service Now Developer- SC Security Clearance. Service Now Developer, ideally with current DV or SC Security Clearance, is required to support our central government client on implementing solutions on the Service Now platform to support business processes and improve service delivery.

• Customise and optimise Service Now applications, build new features, and integrate the platform with internal and external systems.

• Strong Service Now scripting skills with the ability to work across multiple Service Now modules, leveraging APIs, and delivering automation that enhances efficiency and user experience.
• Design, develop, and configure Service Now applications, workflows, forms, UI policies, client scripts, and business rules.
• Customise existing modules such as ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, HRSD, CSM.
• Experience building custom applications using Service Now Studio, Flow Designer, and App Engine.
• Develop and maintain client-side (JavaScript, Glide Form) and server-side (Glide Record, Glide System) scripts.
• Implement automation using flows, scripting, orchestration, and integration tools.
• Develop integrations using REST, SOAP, MID Server, Integration Hub, and hands-on experience developing on the Service Now platform.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, Service Now scripting, and Service Now API usage.
• Experience with workflow development, UI customization, Flow Designer, and App Engine.
• Understanding of Service Now data models, ACLs, roles, and platform security.
• Experience with REST/SOAP integrations and common authentication frameworks (OAuth, Basic Auth).
• Current DV Security Clearance or SC Security Clearance or ability to undergo security clearance.

• Service Now certifications (CSA, CAD, CIS in ITSM/ITOM/others).
• Knowledge of ITIL processes and service management best practices.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum delivery.
• Familiarity with Dev Ops pipelines and source control (Git, Git Lab, Azure Dev Ops).

• 6 month contract with scope to extend up to 24 months
• Hybrid working with 3 days per week on site at Milton Keynes
• Inside IR35 £ 580.00 PER DAY
