Job Summary

SHI is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer with expertise in Apple device deployment to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for a technical leader who thrives in customer-facing environments, excels at translating business needs into technical solutions, and is passionate about optimising Apple deployments for organisations worldwide.

This is a contract position for the duration of 9 months.

Role Description
  • Lead customer-facing calls to present SHI’s comprehensive international EUC capabilities, confidently articulating our core capabilities and global reach.
  • Create and deliver customer-facing and internal presentations for stakeholders at all levels.
  • Conduct regular account planning sessions with Sales Account Managers to identify new opportunities for Apple solutions.
  • Provide pre-sales technical assessments, then develop proposals including estimates, consultation, and statements of work.
  • Guide customers through technical scenarios, upgrade paths, product road maps, and industry best practices for Apple devices and related services.
  • Manage relationships with professional service and mobile device management (MDM) partners, collaborating on opportunities and nurturing the partner/customer/SHI relationship.
  • Lead customer scoping calls to assess business needs, pain points, and required outcomes, translating findings into actionable technical solutions.
  • Collaborate with Apple to create and implement annual and quarterly marketing plans.
  • Stay current on industry technology trends through partner training and provide knowledge transfer to customers and internal teams.
  • Deliver training sessions to internal departments on OEM technical solutions and hardware.
  • Obtain and maintain new and existing certifications, as well as competency trainings required by management or the needs of the role.
  • Take the lead on complex customer requirements, ensuring successful Apple device deployments.
  • Deliver assessments of customer Apple device deployment environments to optimise performance and security.

  • Experience collaborating with sales teams and technical partners to drive business outcomes
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a global team
  • Willingness to travel as required
Other Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of experience in solutions engineering, technical consulting, or pre-sales roles with a focus on Apple device deployment.
  • Existing technical qualifications.
