IT Consultant, Technical Support
Our enterprise client is looking for Technical Consultant is responsible for designing and delivering high quality Service Now technical solutions that meet customer business requirements. The role provides expert advice and guidance on Service Now implementation and technical best practices, working collaboratively with customers and internal teams to ensure successful delivery outcomes.

Milton Keynes (travelling to various client sites)
Active SC Clearance is highly desirable.
Accountabilities:- Design and deliver Service Now technical solutions aligned to customer business and process requirements.
- Deliver high quality Service Now implementations in line with coding and design standards.
- Collaborate with Service Now CoE teams, sharing knowledge, identifying risks, and contributing to service improvement.
- Attend and present at customer meetings, gather and clarify requirements, and support knowledge transfer.
- Assist with system testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Maintain technical documentation and provide hand over materials.
- Continuous learning, self-study, and attainment/retention of Service Now accreditations.
- Administrative, governance, and escalation activities in line with company processes.
- Over 2 years’ experience working in the Service Now ecosystem in a similar technical role.
- Strong hands-on experience across multiple areas of the Service Now platform, including functionality, database structure, developer APIs, development tools, and techniques.
- Strong understanding of Service Now implementation best practices.
- Ability to communicate complex technical issues effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working within Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies.
- Experience providing technical leadership or mentoring junior consultants.
- Experience contributing to technical solution designs, bids, and project documentation.
- Service Now accreditations and certifications.
- Experience working in a customer facing consultancy environment.
- Consistent delivery of robust, scalable Service Now solutions that meet customer and business needs.
- Strong communication skills to avoid misunderstandings and prevent escalations.
- Proactive approach to identifying risks, issues, and improvement opportunities.
- Commitment to technical quality, standards, and documentation.
- Effective collaboration across all Service Now Centre of Excellence teams.
- Continuous learning mindset and ability to stay current with Service Now platform developments.
