Securitas' Risk Intelligence Center (RIC) delivers actionable intelligence on the global security & threat landscape, providing decision making advantage and confidence to protect people, property and assets and to help make the world a safer place.
The RIC is part of Securitas' new business unit, Security Risk Management (SRM), which is a holistic, intelligence-led approach to identifying, understanding, monitoring and acting on risks specific to each client.
The RIC has a number of positions for both Protective Intelligence Analysts and Global Intelligence Analysts. As an Intelligence Analyst, you will play a vital role in supporting our mission to proactively identify and mitigate security threats through comprehensive analysis and strategic insights.
Global Intelligence Analyst- Responsible for a regional desk producing high‑quality, decision‑making intelligence briefs on your region
- Collection, processing, and analysis of data and information to support the production of regional intelligence products
- Shape intelligence outputs and meet stakeholder expectations in a fast‑paced environment
- £30-35K per annum, with £5K shift allowance
- 4 on, 4 off , - days and nights)
- Based in Milton Keynes (in office)
- Responsible for an industry desk producing high‑quality, decision‑making intelligence briefs on your industry
- Collection, processing, and analysis of data and information to support the production of industry related intelligence products
- Shape intelligence outputs and meet stakeholder expectations in a fast‑paced environment
- £30-35K per annum
- 4 on, 4 off )
- Based in Milton Keynes (in office)
- Live within a 45‑minute (door-to-door) commute of the office in Milton Keynes
- Must have at least 1-2 years' experience working in an intelligence or intelligence‑related analytical role
- Strong knowledge of, and genuine interest in, current affairs and the global security threat landscape
- Well‑developed interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, constructively, and professionally as part of a team
The Intelligence Analyst roles are responsible for supporting the delivery of intelligence products and services to Securitas and its customers. The positions are suited to individuals with a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in an intelligence or intelligence‑related analytical role and offer the opportunity to contribute to the RIC’s ongoing development as it embarks on an ambitious growth and capability‑enhancement roadmap.
The primary focus of the Global Intelligence Analyst is to own an assigned global regional "desk", and the focus of the Protective Intelligence Analyst is to own an assigned industry "desk". The roles are responsible for collecting, processing, and analysing data and information to support the production of intelligence products and services and ensuring the timely and accurate dissemination of these outputs to both internal stakeholders and commercial customers.
The RIC values a balanced skill set. Team members are expected to demonstrate both strong technical ability and well‑developed interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate clearly, engage constructively, and work effectively as part of a team.
The roles report directly to the function's Team Leads and require strong research, analytical and report writing skills, in addition to proficiency in IT systems, including Microsoft Office and specific intelligence tools.
Working within a dynamic and demanding environment, the roles require flexibility and agility. Both roles have a shift pattern of 4 on, 4 off, with the Protective team working days only and the Global team working days and nights. Responsibilities will evolve over time, with opportunities for ongoing development and progression.
