IT Support Engineer | Permanent | Milton Keynes | up to £37,500

We’re currently looking for an ambitious IT Support Engineer to join our client - an established and growing UK construction and infrastructure business.

This is a hands‑on, customer‑facing role suited to someone with strong IT support experience who enjoys troubleshooting, working under pressure and delivering excellent service to end users.

This is a great opportunity to lead on high‑quality IT support services to office‑based and remote users across the UK, ensuring the effective operation, security, and reliability of IT systems and services.

The Role
  • Providing remote and telephone‑based IT support for office and mobile users across the business
  • Delivering occasional field‑based support, including overnight stays where required
  • Building, configuring, and deploying laptops and mobile devices using Intune
  • Maintaining IT hardware assets and updating the asset register
  • Managing antivirus protection, malware removal, patching, backups, and restores
  • Creating and maintaining user accounts within Net Suite and Entra
  • Supporting network infrastructure including WiFi, Starlink, mobile connectivity, and VoIP systems
  • Setting up, supporting, and troubleshooting mobile devices and IT hardware
  • Supporting and configuring Microsoft 365, including occasional development work
  • Liaising with third‑party suppliers to maintain high levels of IT service and support
  • Undertaking ongoing training and development through the company’s in‑house learning platform
About you
  • Proven experience in an IT support or technical role
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft 365 and related applications
  • Understanding of mobile devices, including troubleshooting, common faults, and basic repairs
  • Knowledge of server operating systems and Hyper‑V is desirable; training can be provided
  • Experience supporting IT hardware, software, and user accounts in a business environment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a busy IT team
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for occasional field‑based support
